Current Tyson team members and rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus.
Payout is as follows:
- $1,000 upon completion of first week
- $1,000 at 90 days
- $1,500 at the 6-month mark
- $1,500 at the one-year mark.
- Must successfully complete the above time increments to be eligible.
Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The applicant must be familiar with ammonia, plant ammonia systems, electrical refrigeration, and other industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and conduct safety checks throughout their area.
- Complete Tyson Level 1 through 4 Skills Training within eighteen (18) months of being placed in the position.
- Follow all Hazmat grooming requirements and become Hazmat Certified.
- Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor/manager
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with HVAC or Ammonia systems or completion of HVAC school. Experience in an industrial or commercial setting preferred. Please attached resume to show case your experience.
Preferred experience in the mechanical areas listed:
- Mechanical Trouble Shooting
- Electrical Trouble Shooting
- Hydraulic Trouble Shooting
- PLC Controls
- Three Phase Wiring
- Plumbing
- Operate Forklift and Skyjacks, Genie Bomms.
- Pneumatic Systems
- Basic Facility Maintenance
