TVW, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1967 by Hildah Highbe, a former special needs teacher. Her vision was to provide a program that would enable adults with disabilities to achieve their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society.

Sustainable Cleaning Systems has supported work opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Oregon for 20 years by providing janitorial, hard floor & carpet cleaning positions. TVW's mission is "We support the employment choices of people with disabilities". We give priority in hiring to individuals who fulfill our mission, including those with medical, physical, or mental conditions.

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 5PM-2AM. Locations will be throughout the Portland Metro Area

WAGE: $23.36 to $24.36 per hour + mileage

• 90% of medical is paid by employer
• 100% of dental is paid by employer

• Working independently and with minimum supervision, the Janitorial Rover models exemplary behavior and provides day-to-day Commercial Cleaning and Floor Care coverage. The rover works on cleaning projects as assigned and covers Job Duties for workers who are out.
• Safely and effectively operate cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Assists the manager, supervisors, floor crew, and other leads in providing adequate coverage and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
• Performs other assigned tasks to ensure the quality of all work performed. Responsible for inputting to the janitorial supervisor (primarily) and operations manager on site quality issues, overtime reduction, compliance with contractual obligations, employee accountability, and other matters as requested.
• Assists managers, supervisors, and other lead workers in providing adequate coverage and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
• Ensure all contractual requirements are met. Performs other assigned tasks to ensure the quality of all work performed. Responsible for updating the janitorial supervisor (primarily) and operations manager on site quality issues, overtime reduction, compliance with contractual obligations, employee accountability, and other matters as requested.
• The Janitorial Rover will provide consistent services and assist other coworkers in cleaning to ensure the overall quality of the assigned locations.
