Join our growing restoration team and help bring peace of mind to customers after disaster strikes. SERVPRO of Northwest Portland is seeking a hardworking, detail‑oriented Cleaning Technician to support our Contents and Textile Restoration division. This warehouse‑based role focuses on cleaning and restoring personal belongings impacted by fire, water, or mold damage. Occasionally, you'll assist with pack‑outs in the field, helping safely remove and transport customer belongings.

- Clean and restore personal property (contents and textiles) using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Handle items with care, including clothing, soft goods, furniture, electronics, and sentimental belongings.
- Follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure items are properly deodorized and sanitized.
- Organize and track inventory using technology systems.
- Assist with packing and unpacking contents during on-site pack‑out and move‑back jobs.
- Work closely with the Area Content Manager and other team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in contents cleaning, home cleaning, laundry services, or textile care is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, detail‑focused role.
- Ability to lift and carry items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to assist in the field when needed.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in environments affected by fire, smoke, water, or mold (with proper PPE and training provided).
- Prior experience in restoration or cleaning industry
- Familiarity with inventory systems (ICAT, Encircle, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of cleaning agents, textile handling, and deodorization processes
