Job Summary
Beauchamp Repair & Maintenance Technician repair and maintain equipment in University Recreation Center. Most hours within 10am-6pm, Mon-Fri. Work outside that time frame requires approval by Director of Rec Services.
Core Duties
- Establish regular routine to repair and maintain equipment in the Rec Center.
- Research & execute repairs.
- Communicate parts needs to Director of Rec Services.
- Report progress to Director and maintain work log
- Other relevant tasks as assigned
- Good mechanical skills, aptitude for solving problems.
- Demonstrated skills making repairs.
- Skilled at using common tools.
- Organized
- Relevant experience repairing mechanical equipment, fitness studio or bike shop
- Position requires taking items apart and putting them back together, so dexterity and skills with tools, and physical requirements that entails.
