Commercial Cleaning Technician

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician, you will be part of a professional cleaning team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of offices, retail stores, and other commercial buildings. You’ll ensure work spaces are sanitized, organized, and safe for employees and customers. This position demands dependability, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and communal areas.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
• Wipe down surfaces including desks, countertops, and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and partitions to maintain a professional appearance.
• Refill restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc.).
• Use cleaning chemicals safely following company and OSHA guidelines.
• Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers.
• Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Lock doors and secure the premises after completion of cleaning.
• Follow a set schedule and checklist for each facility to ensure consistency.
• Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements &

Skills:

• Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without supervision.
