About the Position

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Portland, Oregon! The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for daily monitoring of the work order software system and following procedures for entering, assigning and documenting all notes, services, supplies and labor and seeing through to timely completion. They will have excellent organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate and report effectively.

The Maintenance Supervisor will also provide daily supervision and delegation of assignments to the maintenance technicians. Participation in hiring, discipline and termination of maintenance staff is required. They will also perform and/or delegate regular preventative maintenance: replace air filters, inspect for plumbing leaks, replace caulking in bathrooms, replace ceiling tile grout, paint as needed, etc.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Full Time, Day)

What You'll Make

$4,833-$6,000 per month, DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates.

What You'll Need
  • Minimum of 5 years experience providing oversight of general maintenance and landscaping (required).
  • General knowledge of construction, property maintenance, local, state and federal regulations and safety procedures.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience leading a cohesive team environment.
  • Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
  • Physical demands: frequently bend, stoop, squat/kneel, use hands and fingers, stand, walk, reach, climb stairs and ladders, operate a variety of tools and machinery which may include exposure to vibration and noise; lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and maneuver bulky objects. Occasionally sit, talk, listen, and crawl. Must successfully complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques.
