Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Janitor role located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal. Daily tasks include restocking supplies, cleaning glass and high‑touch surfaces, and maintaining floors, fixtures, and equipment in good condition. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, following safety and cleaning protocols, and using cleaning products and tools correctly.

The Janitor will interact with clients and team members in a professional, courteous manner while supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in janitorial services and housekeeping, including routine and deep cleaning, sanitizing, and organization.
• Ability to provide courteous, responsive customer service and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Experience with training or willingness to learn and follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Comfort discussing services or add‑on options when appropriate, supporting basic sales and client retention efforts.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with the ability to follow schedules and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry cleaning equipment and supplies as required by the job.
• Attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
