Job Posting
At Willamette View, you'll contribute to the ethos of "Inspiring the Art of Living Well" for our active resident community, playing a key role in helping individuals lead rich and fulfilling lives. If you appreciate the importance of personal relationships and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others, then our unique, lively, and progressive senior community is the ideal place for you.
Imagine coming to work each day knowing that what you do helps create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for older adults who are living vibrant, meaningful lives. At our non-profit continuing care retirement community, every member of our team plays a role in making that possible and as part of our Facilities crew, you'll be right at the heart of it.
You'll work alongside a supportive Maintenance Manager and a close-knit team, caring for the buildings and grounds that our residents depend on. From changing HVAC filters and replacing light bulbs to assisting with small electrical repairs, every task you complete helps ensure that our community runs smoothly and feels like home. This isn't just about fixing things—it's about building connections.
You might swap a friendly wave with a resident as you make your rounds, share a quick laugh with a coworker, or see firsthand the appreciation in someone's eyes when you've solved a problem that made their day easier. You'll also play an important role in keeping our systems running safely and efficiently by completing scheduled preventative maintenance on large-scale HVAC equipment including centralized boilers, domestic water heating systems, and PTAC units.
In addition, you'll test and recommend new maintenance products, install equipment and appliances, and troubleshoot HVAC and electrical systems to either make repairs yourself or advise when vendor support is needed. Regular inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment, along with strict adherence to all company safety regulations, help ensure we provide the very best environment for residents and staff alike.
If you're someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of something bigger than yourself, this is your chance to join a mission-driven team where your work truly matters. Here, you're not just maintaining a campus—you're helping to nurture a community.
