Industrial Maintenance/Cyclotron Service Technician – Portland, OR
Paid training and relocation assistance available. Veterans and transitioning military with strong hands‑on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills encouraged to apply.
Qualifications- Experience with low and high voltage, Radio Frequency, and vacuum systems.
- Basic plumbing experience.
- Very good mechanical abilities.
- Willingness to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with 3‑phase electrical systems.
- Structured problem‑solving techniques and ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Strong experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to perform makeshift changes and occasional weekend availability.
- Work independently to accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities; provide service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules, and manipulator arms as assigned.
- Monitor and positively affect financial and operational performance.
- Work in compliance with all regulatory standards including EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies.
- Incorporate new technology, products, and processes into daily operations.
- Participate in personnel training and staff development.
- Work cross‑functionally with production team to implement strategic initiatives.
- Respond to calls for service support within a reasonable amount of time.
- Complete and submit work‑history tickets promptly and include all relevant details.
- Complete and submit all timecards, assigned training, and expense reports promptly and include all relevant details.
- Schedule work and manage spare parts usage to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness.
- Monitor and improve uptime for site cyclotron system(s).
- Participate in assessment of semi‑complex product and equipment performance and recommend modifications and improvements.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Salary: $45,000-$60,000
