Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 SW Salmon Street, Portland, Oregon, United States of America
Job DescriptionPosted Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Multnomah Athletic Club is more than Portland’s most legendary hub of sports and socializing. It’s like a small city unto itself. Where else can you find four restaurants, three pools, a climbing gym, state-of-the-art studios and fitness suite, a complex of racquet sport courts, massage offerings, a boutique, plus a grand ballroom and variety of events spaces all in one place?
To say that every employee of MAC has room to move is an understatement almost as big as MAC’s 600,000 square feet of recreational possibilities.
Want a career with a future? A campus worth exploring? A one-of-a-kind community on which you can have a direct impact? MAC is all of those things and more.
The RoleThe Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Facilities team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventive work on building systems and equipment throughout our historic, multi-use facility.
The Maintenance Technician II supports preventive maintenance programs, basic troubleshooting, and light repair work across multiple trade areas. Working under the direct supervision of Facilities Leads and Engineers, this position contributes to the overall safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence of the Club. The Technician II also assists with remodels, seasonal projects, and operational needs such as landscaping support, inclement weather response, and equipment or furniture movement.
In addition to general maintenance responsibilities, this role may take ownership of smaller projects, help coordinate daily work activities, and support Engineers with complex or specialized repairs. This position plays a key role in delivering a safe, high-quality experience for members and staff.
