If you enjoy working as part of a supportive team, take pride in keeping a clean and organized kitchen, and want a meaningful career serving seniors, we'd love to meet you.## What You'll DoAs a Dietary Aide, you'll work alongside our culinary team to provide excellent dining experiences for our residents by:
* Assisting with meal preparation and meal service
* Setting up and delivering resident meal trays
* Preparing snacks and nourishments
* Washing dishes and operating the commercial dishwasher
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
* Cleaning workstations, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment
* Sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash
* Stocking and organizing food and supplies
* Supporting the cooks and dietary leadership team as needed
* Working collaboratively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments to provide outstanding resident care## What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:

* Passionate about serving older adults### Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
* Ability to read recipes and follow written instructions
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated individuals.##

Physical Requirements This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing routine kitchen cleaning duties.## Why Columbia Place?
