As our Technician, you’ll be on the front lines, ensuring peak performance and sustainability for our client’s diverse customer base. Your mission will involve:
- Becoming an Energy Detective: Conduct insightful energy audits on steam traps, leveraging your analytical skills to capture and translate field data into impactful reports using specialized software.
- Mastering the Tools of Tomorrow: Dive into the world of precision, utilizing a range of sophisticated handheld and computer-based test equipment and calibration devices to ensure optimal functionality.
- Bringing Devices Back to Life: Get hands‑on with essential equipment, employing your dexterity and problem‑solving abilities to open, repair, and restore devices to their full operational glory.
- Decoding the Language of Automation: Immerse yourself in the intricacies of installation, operation, and maintenance manuals for a variety of critical devices, including steam traps, gas analyzers, temperature/pressure/flow instruments, and valve actuators/positioners.
- Being a Meticulous Steward: Take ownership of company equipment, ensuring its upkeep and meticulously documenting all your valuable work, from daily time logs to project progress and duration.
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to make a tangible impact. Ideally, you’ll possess:
- A 2-year technical degree that has equipped you with a solid foundation in the field.
- A strong grasp of automation principles, metrology, calibration techniques, and flow control systems.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
