Under the direction of the EVS Manager, EVS Technician is responsible for performing janitorial duties for the facility and related areas. Quality customer service will be provided to the residents at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Essential Job Functions:

• Clean building floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, and vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Respond to all off the hook and unlock requests from the front desk.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks as needed.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facility areas for events such as banquets and meetings.
• Set-up audio visual equipment for events.

Six months or more related experience
