Welds castings using one or more techniques:
Gas Metal Arc Welder (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welder (GTAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welder (SMAW) and Plasma Arc Welder (PAW).;
Reviews inspection/rework analyst paperwork and tech cards; identifies and inspects prepared areas needing repair; welds areas on castings to PCC specifications.;
Welds in compliance with Process Control Procedures and external quality control standards including aerospace standards.;
Maintains welding equipment; repairs torch heads, replaces power cables, performs minor maintenance on welding tools.;
Adheres to plant and department safety rules and safely operates all equipment and tools; completes logs and records; performs other tasks as directed.
