Job Title

Students in this position will perform routing maintenance tasks for the Buildings Team of Facilities Services department in an efficient and productive manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs general maintenance tasks including but not limited to the following: sign cleaning, reset beds in residence halls, assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus, lock maintenance, power washing, event set-ups and tear downs, assist carpenters with various tasks, etc.

  • Safely operates all hand and power tools necessary to complete assigned tasks.

  • Moves, loads, unloads and delivers heavy and bulky materials, supplies and equipment by hand or dolly

  • Performs tasks as directed to prepare residence halls and classrooms for occupancy

  • Assists with all tasks needed to ensure timely set-ups and tear downs for campus events.

  • Must pass drivers training to operate transportation vehicles

  • Ability to use/learn pressure washing

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule
  • Hours available Monday - Friday, 7am-4:30pm

Rate of Pay
  • $16.80 per hour
