Facilities Technician
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support the upkeep, cleanliness, and overall maintenance of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for assisting with custodial and facility maintenance tasks to help ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Perform general custodial and housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
- Assist the facilities team with building maintenance and upkeep.
- Sweep, mop, polish floors, and empty trash receptacles.
- Clean machines and equipment by removing dust, dirt, grease, and debris.
- Monitor and empty machine chip bins as needed.
- Complete daily equipment safety inspections and checklists.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees.
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance roles.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
