Manager, Engineering and Maintenance

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc. seeks a Manager, Engineering and Maintenance to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees reliability of production equipment, plans and executes preventive and predictive maintenance, and manages capital and improvement projects. The manager will supervise a multidisciplinary maintenance team, coordinate with production and engineering, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in uptime, quality, and cost efficiency while supporting an innovative, team-oriented culture focused on employee development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering and maintenance team in a manufacturing environment
• Develop, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure reliable operation of production equipment and utilities to minimize unplanned downtime
• Plan and manage maintenance and engineering projects, including capital improvements
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals
• Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and vendor relationships
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to support technical growth
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness
