Custodian for Poteau High School Facilities

Responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting all areas of the facilities assigned. Perform basic cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance of an assigned building and associated grounds including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal, etc. Keeping a secure facility at all times to ensure a safe school and working environment.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning products
• Ability to maintain honesty and integrity in all aspects of the job
• Ability and willingness to adhere to attendance requirements, including regular and punctual employee presence

Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.

Duties will include cleaning and upkeep of the following:

• Class rooms
• Hallways
• Bathrooms
• School Office

Any other duties deemed necessary by supervisor.
