Formal Housekeeper

Location: Washington, DC Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:45 am - 5:15 pm

Seeking an experienced Formal Housekeeper to maintain a prestigious historic estate consisting of three residences across 13 meticulously landscaped acres. The ideal candidate is highly polished, detail-oriented, discreet, efficient, and experienced in caring for fine furnishings and luxury homes.

• Provide exceptional daily housekeeping for the main residence, gate house, and pool house.
• Manage all laundry, including delicate care, hand washing, steaming, ironing, folding, and organization.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain floors, bathrooms, kitchens, windows, furniture, moldings, and fixtures.
• Care for interior plant arrangements.
• Polish and maintain the family’s extensive silver collection.
• Monitor household supplies and coordinate replenishment.
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, and wear to the Estate Manager.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as requested by the homeowner.

• 10+ years of professional executive housekeeping experience,in UHNW/private estates.
• Exceptional laundry, ironing, and garment-care skills.
• Experience caring for fine furnishings, antiques, and high-end interiors.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• A team player to work alongside of 1-2 other housekeepers.
• Professional, kind, discreet, and highly motivated.
• Strong judgment and ability to anticipate the family’s needs.
• Flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a comprehensive background check.

Salary of 100k + DOE

Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k) with company match after three months of employment. 2 weeks pf PTO after a year.
