We are currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician with general residential technician skills to join the High Associates team at the Orchard Ridge property in Pottstown, PA
.
The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for a wide range of building maintenance responsibilities. These include but are not limited to completion of minor building maintenance duties as required by service requests submitted by residents, preparation of unit turnovers in addition to routine maintenance of a non-technical issue, and preventive maintenance of homes and common area enhancements.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. A shared on‑call rotation is required every 3 weeks. Additional pay is received when on call.
- Complete minor building maintenance duties for properties owned and leased by High Associates, including service requests required for unit turnover and routine maintenance calls.
- Repair and maintain general carpentry, drywall, minor electrical, routine plumbing, and appliance repairs.
- Maintain working knowledge of parts and inventory use, requisition supplies, and maintain inventory records and logs of routine maintenance.
- Inspect buildings and apartments, inform supervisor of maintenance needs, and assist in planning and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance, including pre‑treatment of sidewalks and walkways as needed.
- Maintain equipment, storage, and work areas clean and orderly.
- Follow all safety, truck operations, and other rules and regulations.

- Perform special assignments as directed.
- High school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
- 3–12 months of directly related experience in general building maintenance and grounds experience.
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.
- Basic knowledge of appliance repair and HVAC.
- Flexibility to work a scheduled on‑call rotation (one week every 3 weeks), which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
