COP Sanitation Equipment Operator

You will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and serve as backup when needed—sometimes verifying task sheets, checking the sanitation schedule, and guiding technicians in the Supervisor’s absence.

What will you do?

Execute daily cleaning and sanitizing of production and packaging equipment in line with SSOP, HACCP, FDA, GMP, and Safety requirements.

Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) and complete all documentation, including corrective actions when required.

Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble food-processing machinery: conveyors, mixers, fillers, cookers, and packaging equipment.

Operate sanitation tools and systems: COP tanks, pressure washers, foaming units, floor scrubbers, chemical dispensing systems, power scrubbers, foamers, and a forklift.

Remove trash and debris from processing, packaging, and dock areas; clean up spills quickly and thoroughly.

Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, conference rooms, and locker rooms when the external cleaning service is not onsite.

Keep the chemical storage area orderly and safe.

Extend facility care to walls, floors, racking, doors, building exterior, grounds, lighting, and parking lots.

Verify cleanliness via visual inspections and established sanitation verification procedures; record results accurately.

Eliminate residues, allergens, and debris from all relevant surfaces.

Perform other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
