Job OverviewGateway Fellowship is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Seasonal Facilities Worker. This role plays a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities and grounds during our busy season. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on problem solver with a strong work ethic and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
As a member of the Gateway One Team, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission:
Presenting Hope and Developing People. Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness and demonstrates a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
May-August, Temporary. Schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends, depending on operational needs.
Job LocationThis position may float between the Poulsbo and Bremerton campuses.
Salary$17.13 - $18.50/hr

Responsibilities- Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, raking, watering, and seasonal planting.
- Assist with basic repair work such as patching, painting, assembling furniture, and light carpentry.
- Support the setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor events as needed.
- Move, load, and store equipment, furniture, and other materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work spaces, storage areas, and grounds.
- Perform routine inspections and report any facilities or safety concerns.
- Assist with seasonal preparations, including snow removal or weatherproofing (if applicable).
- Previous experience in facilities, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Team-oriented with a flexible, can‑do attitude.
- Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s license (if driving is required).
