Job Description

As a Fire/Water Field Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and completing mitigation services on a case-by-case basis. You will have to communicate these needs between management, customers, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clear communication between office and customers.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of yourself, assigned vehicle and equipment.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work needs.
• Set up staging areas and equipment as needed for each project.
• Perform end of day/end of job clean up and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Perform all production processes following SERVPRO production guidelines per order by management.

Job Requirements

• Ability to travel locally and out-of-state as needed.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject by applicable laws.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Walking, standing, and driving for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling and extended ceiling heights.
• Ability to work in compact spaces (crawlspaces, attics, etc).
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of items.
• Ability to work on-call and after business hours as needed.

Additional Qualifications

• Clear and effective oral and written communication.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration industry is preferred.
• IICRC certification is preferred.
