** the maintenance generalist is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This position supports production in a fresh food manufacturing environment while maintaining compliance with tyson policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
** key responsibilities
** perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly complete corrective and emergency maintenance work as assigned perform equipment adjustments, part replacements, and repairs to maintain optimal performance follow work orders and document maintenance activities accurately in the cmmsassist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures, safety hazards, or maintenance needswork closely with production and sanitation to coordinate maintenance activities.support

sanitation and startup processes following maintenance work maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition comply with all osha, usda, food safety, and tyson policies and procedures follow lockout/tagout (loto), ppe, and safe work practices at all times participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives perform other duties as assigned
