Purpose:

Our Hosts introduce the Canadian Brewhouse experience as the initial greeter of our guests, and carry a vital role in maintaining a seamless flow within our establishments enabling our teams to provide an outstanding guest experience.

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive demeanor making them feel comfortable and welcomed
• Seat guests effectively based on availability and preference, balancing table assignments among servers
• Become an expert in all menu items including regular items, specials, allergens and dietary restrictions
• Receive and coordinate the completed orders from the kitchen, ensuring all items on ticket are ready to go
• Ensure that each dish is prepared to Brewhouse standards before it leaves the kitchen
• Update front of house team with delays in kitchen

• A passion for people and fun, and be 19+ years of age
• A strong attention to detail including accuracy of each order, presentation, special requests, and modifications
• The ambition and drive to create the best experience for your team and guests
• The ability to work with urgency while remaining calm
• The ability to communicate effectively
• The ability to obtain Serve It Right and Food Wise Certifications
• The ability to fulfil the physical job requirements
