Ethnic Food Cook

Permanent, Full-time, 32–40 hours per week, Days, Evenings, Weekends, Starts as soon as possible.

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
• English language proficiency.
• Attention to detail, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
• Client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
