Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Facility Maintenance, Maintenance Manager, Building Maintenance
Oversee and supervise Team Members in the performance of highly diversified duties including, but not limited to: installing machinery, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties:- Train, monitor, and motivate team members for the Maintenance Department.
- May be required to support off shifts if the need arises.
- Establish maintenance standards by developing, maintaining, and following a schedule of periodic preventive maintenance and reviewing all preventive maintenance cost estimates.
- Review maintenance work order requests to diagnose problems and ensure correct, cost-effective and quality repairs for the operation of the facility.
- Prioritize and track the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts.
- Communicate any issues with Maintenance members to management and HR.
- Performs routine inspections of the facility for regulatory compliance, safety, maintenance and related issues. Takes and/or directs corrective action for problems detected.
- Coordinate the outside contractors in the repair and upkeep of plant equipment.
- Oversees inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and spare parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase; periodically reviews inventory for proper upkeep of plant facility.
- Prepare required monthly maintenance reports for management review and approval.
- Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Ensures compliance with all related ISO 14001procedures and requirements.
- Develop plans for increasing maintenance member skill through internal and external training.
- Sourcing Spare parts.
- Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Must have leadership experience with industrial machine maintenance
- Must have strong Electrical and Mechanical background
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, carpentry or related field preferred
- Adequate computer skills to accurately document repairs and preventative maintenance
