Our clients are hiring an experienced and professional Lead Housekeeper for their home in Princeton, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a mature, emotionally intelligent professional who thrives in a quiet, well-run household with a steady routine and takes pride in maintaining impeccable standards alongside a collaborative team.

• Perform daily and deep cleaning, attending to the daily graces first.
• Provide thoughtful, informed care for fine furnishings and materials.
• Perform laundry tasks, including handwashing, ironing, steaming; organize and maintain clothing, closets, and drawers.
• Lead by example reinforcing established standards, routines, and preferred methods throughout the home.
• Coach and support other housekeepers in a respectful, diplomatic manner.
• Maintain and organize kitchen and inventories and help ensure the home runs smoothly.
• Assist with seasonal and special projects (pantry/fridge organization, linen rotation, etc.)
• Promptly communicate any maintenance concerns to the principals, DoR, or Handyman.
• Support a quiet day-to-day rhythm with no regular entertaining responsibilities.

• Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a fine home with high standards and routines.
• Excellent, verifiable references
• Demonstrated success in a lead or senior housekeeping capacity, with the confidence and diplomacy to coach and mentor other housekeepers respectfully and effectively
• High emotional intelligence and sound judgment,
• Hard-working, meticulous, and highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a consistent approach to daily standards.
• Sound knowledge of proper care protocols for fine materials and high-value household items.
• Pleasant professional demeanor and a strong commitment to discretion.
• Easily adheres to checklists, preferred protocols, and a predictable household routine.
• Able to communicate effectively and readily with principals and other staff.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a dependable vehicle.

• The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• All team members share some weekend coverage.
• Base Compensation: $42-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
