Senior Trust & Estate Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Tax Accountant to join their team in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The firm supports a broad range of clients and provides comprehensive tax and accounting services across individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and review trust & estate (1041) tax returns
• Prepare and review individual, S-Corporation (1120S), and Partnership (1065) returns
• Research and apply current Federal and Illinois tax laws
• Collaborate with team members in an on-site office environment

Who We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred but not required
• 4+ years of recent (2023 or later) public accounting experience in a CPA firm
• Strong background in trusts & estates, individual, and pass-through entity taxation
• Solid understanding of tax law changes from 2018 to present

• Not seeking candidates with highly specialized tax backgrounds (e.g., European international tax)
