QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED. CDL license preferred- or Class "B" CDL driver's license with Airbrake is required within 12 months of employment. CDL must be maintained without interruption throughout the individual's employment with the Public Works
-no exceptions. Reside within a reasonable distance to report off hours to call-outs.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Must have knowledge of general construction, repair, and maintenance principles. Must be skilled in the operation of common hand and power tools. Ability to operate general office equipment including personal or mobile computers. Knowledge of how to operate general equipment, machinery and tools used in construction activities including proper operation and care. Must have ability to read and write reports in English.
Must understand that safely working is the top priority.

Salary Starting salary for qualified candidate is $52,375.49
- excellent City and Union Local 150 benefits.
