Laborer Job Description

We are currently hiring for laborers to work in our warehouse type facility working with drums of material. You will be labeling, sorting, and moving drums around the facility using pallet jacks and forklifts. This role is either on 1st or 2nd shift and pays $20 - $21 an hour. Certification for the 40-Hour HAZWOPER will be provided.

• Transport and handle drums of waste, ensuring correct identification of substances.
• Load and unload drums onto trucks safely and efficiently.
• Separate hazardous and non-hazardous waste and place them in designated warehouse areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse through regular sweeping.

• 1+ year of experience in environmental labor.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Basic understanding of environmental science and remediation.

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus but not required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Experience in construction, general labor, or mechanical work.

The role involves working both indoors and outdoors in the environmental field. The work shift is Monday through Friday, from 12 PM to 8:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
