As skills and experience develop, this position will be given increasing responsibility for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and facility maintenance.

  • Assist with emergency or unscheduled equipment repairs as needed.
  • Learn and follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before performing maintenance or repairs.
  • Inspect equipment and facility areas for potential maintenance or safety concerns and report issues to the Maintenance Technician or appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with maintaining maintenance tools, supplies, parts, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

  • Work cooperatively with production employees, supervisors, and other departments to support facility and equipment needs.
  • Perform other maintenance, facility, or operational duties as assigned by the Maintenance Technician, Plant Manager, or other members of the leadership team.

Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic knowledge of general building, facility, mechanical, or equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Previous experience performing basic repairs, working with tools, automotive repair, construction, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
