Landscape Laborer
:
Sod laying, planting plants and trees, mowing, trimming, raking, pruning, mulching, sprinkler system installation. Loading and unloading materials. Lifting required up to 50 lbs.

$20.01/hr; $31.52 overtime.

Schedule:

8am-5pm, Monday–Friday, some overtime and weekends may be available.

21 positions available for temporary, full-time, peak-load work from 04/01/2026 to 11/30/2026. Worksite:
Salt Lake County area jobsites. Transportation provided to and from area jobsites from a central Salt Lake County pickup location.

Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages. Pay will be biweekly. Assistance finding and securing lodging is not available. Employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck. Employer will advance up to $75.00/day at the end of each work day at no interest for the first 2 weeks, if needed. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion or early dismissal, employer will pay reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed from, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at $16.28 per day during travel, up to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek. Employer will provide, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job duties. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment.

This job is in connection with a future H-2B Foreign Labor Certification application.
