Saturday - Tuesday, 12:00am – 10:30am

As the Data Center Logistics Associate, you will play a critical role in the seamless operation of our data center. This position is vital to ensuring efficient data center operation and requires a candidate who excels in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Inventory Management:
  Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory, including racks & trays, networking equipment, and other hardware; maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation for all items received and shipped; perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Shipping and Receiving:
  Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments; prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments; upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness; transport inventory by hand using material handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures and protocols.
• Facility Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks; assist with the disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed.
• Compliance and Safety:
  Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment; comply with Data Center security measures and access controls.
• Support and
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs; provide support for special projects or initiatives; complete other duties as required with emphasis on quality, safety and efficiency.
• Assembly:
  Assist in the setup and installation of computer server racks; follow diagrams and guidelines; handle basic tools safely and support senior technicians in cable management and organization within server racks.

Minimum:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word)
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents
• Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Nice to have:

• Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work safely in a team
• Positive, respectful, and professional attitude in all activities
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed

Role requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy material and perform physical tasks related to handling server trays and server racks
• Use power equipment to safely move very heavy server racks in accordance with safety guidelines
