RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
  • Coordinate planned maintenance tasks with production schedules to minimize operational disruptions
  • Plan Maintenance corrective task to include parts procurement, parts drawings, and kitting
  • Estimate the materials,laborand/orrequiredcontractors for theplannedwork orders
  • Create, prioritize, and manage work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to address equipment reliability issues
  • Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs
  • Implement best practices and contribute to the development of maintenance policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in maintenance planning in an industrial setting
  • Experience using SAP as ERP is considered a strong asset
  • Strong organizational abilities, prioritizing tasks to meet objectives within budget and time constraints
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards
  • Knowledge of the Paperindustry is a definite asset

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner’s mission is to produce a weekly schedule for planned maintenance orders for work in progress and for planned shutdown work in order to meet his or her unit’s operational objectives. You thus evaluate and maximize the availability of equipment and workforce needed to perform maintenance work. Finally, you continuously improve and maintain the maintenance and reliability management systems up to date.

As a result, you actively contribute to the optimization of your unit’s operational efficiency and performance.
