Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance

The OpportunityThis is a chance to take ownership of equipment reliability for a growing, global packaging manufacturing operation near Tulsa. You won't just be reacting to breakdowns — you'll be building and leading the predictive and preventive maintenance strategies that keep this plant running, and you'll have real input into how production and maintenance priorities align.

What Your Week Looks Like- Drive mechanical and electrical reliability initiatives across assigned equipment
- Lead planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance work to minimize downtime
- Manage work orders in CMMS, ensuring accuracy and timely closure
- Run RCA efforts on equipment failures and present findings to plant teams
- Partner with operations leadership to align maintenance priorities with production goals
- Support production changeovers to keep transitions smooth and efficient
- Coach and direct maintenance technicians on the floor
- Track and report on OEE, downtime, and reliability KPIs
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- 2-10 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (packaging or paper experience preferred, not required)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
- Proven leadership experience mentoring or guiding maintenance teams
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of root cause resolution
- Demonstrated ability to improve uptime, work order completion, and reliability metrics
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Confident communicator comfortable presenting solutions and building buy‑in across teams
- Strong safety mindset
