Role Overview :

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as aManufacturing Plant Janitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment forall employees.

Key Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors,offices, corridors, and production areas.
2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas according to established protocols.
3. Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
5. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
6. Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and special event spaces as required.
7. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
8. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to cleanliness, hygiene, andwaste management.
10. Collaborate with other team members and departments to maintain a positive working environment.

Working Environment:

The position involves working within an industrial production setting, where exposure to moving mechanical components and vehicular activity is commonplace. Certain areas of the workplace may have elevated noise levels. Employees may also experience extreme temperatures,including both winter cold and summer heat. Additionally, there may be occasional stress due to the pressure of meeting deadlines and maintaining product quality standards. Work hours may vary seasonally, depending on production demands.
