Maintenance Technician

Residential Niche has partnered with ADDA to recruit for a Maintenance Technician located in Pueblo, CO.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community, including common areas, management offices, amenities, and vacant units. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents by thoroughly cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and trash removal.
• Restock restroom and supply areas as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repair or replacement needs to management.
• Identify and promptly report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and property damage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with special projects and seasonal cleaning as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred, particularly in residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, bending, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Work Environment

• Work performed in both indoor and outdoor settings within an apartment community.
• Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
