- 4-on/4-off schedule
- Rotating day/night shift every 2 months
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00AM - 7:00PM / 7:00PM – 7:00AM
- Built-in, guaranteed overtime

- Provide process integrity and maintain process quality for all furnace process operations.
- Perform all engineering instruction for all department processes including carbonization, densification and heat-treating processes.
- Follow established environmental, health and safety standards and procedures while performing daily duties. Constantly aware of, and look for, ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve overall safety in the workplace.
- Demonstrate understanding and implementation of BBS (Behavior Based Safety).
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools such as KAS, 5S, TPM and other continuous process improvement tools.
- Monitor metrics in the work area and take appropriate and timely action when metrics indicate downward trends or fall below acceptable limits.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Past work experience or demonstration of mechanical aptitude.
- Industrial experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment desired.
- Ability to operate all department equipment including but not limited to overhead cranes, pneumatic devices, vacuum equipment, forklifts, hand trucks, optical pyrometers and hand tools.
- Ability to problem‑solve and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions. Mechanical aptitude desired.
- A basic understanding of mathematics and PC skills.
- Ability to work a 4‑day/12‑hr shift, days and nights required.
