Position Title

Summary / ObjectiveManages the cleaning operations and maintenance of the facility, furthering a positive member experience.
Essential Functions- Clean, disinfect and maintain the physical facility and furnishings.
- Collect and dispose of trash and waste.
- Clean bathrooms: sinks, mirrors, toilets, and showers.
- Clean all air vents and care for all cleaning equipment.
- Report needed repairs immediately to the supervisor and maintain adequate supplies.
- Understand safety precautions and cleaning product protocols as recommended by the CDC for all housekeeping services.
- Deep clean the entire facility thoroughly prior to each vacation/break.
- Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including the CDC, facility, and university policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively clean, disinfect and maintain facility.
- Public Safety and Security – Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations.
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition.
- Trunk Strength – Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously.
- Extent Flexibility – Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
- Near Vision – Ability to see details at close range.
- Oral Comprehension – Ability to listen to and understand spoken information.
- Oral Expression – Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to communicate with customers and employees in one‑on‑one interactions.
- Wet or dry combination vacuum cleaners
- Wet mops
