Overview
Dish Lead – Athletics (
Position Title:
DISH LEAD). Full‑time (100% FTE), permanent, overtime eligible. Located in Gray W Dining, Pullman, WA.
- Perform daily duties and actively instruct and lead student employees in the dish room and pots‑and‑pans areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring all responsible areas meet standards.
- Foster a positive, cooperative, and harmonious work environment.
- Work under direct supervision of the manager.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, a Washington Food Handler’s Permit.
- One year of experience in quantity or institutional food preparation and serving, including six months directing the work of others.
- Experience can be substituted with equivalent education or experience.
- More than six months of experience leading and training employees.
- General knowledge of commercial‑grade kitchen equipment use, safety, and maintenance.
- 6–12 months of commercial warewashing experience in a large‑scale kitchen operation.
Monthly Salary: $3,403 – $4,517 (range 37, steps A–M). Overtime eligible.
