Overview

Dish Lead – Athletics (

Position Title:

DISH LEAD). Full‑time (100% FTE), permanent, overtime eligible. Located in Gray W Dining, Pullman, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily duties and actively instruct and lead student employees in the dish room and pots‑and‑pans areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring all responsible areas meet standards.
  • Foster a positive, cooperative, and harmonious work environment.
  • Work under direct supervision of the manager.
Required Qualifications
  • Possession of, or eligibility for, a Washington Food Handler’s Permit.
  • One year of experience in quantity or institutional food preparation and serving, including six months directing the work of others.
  • Experience can be substituted with equivalent education or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than six months of experience leading and training employees.
  • General knowledge of commercial‑grade kitchen equipment use, safety, and maintenance.
  • 6–12 months of commercial warewashing experience in a large‑scale kitchen operation.
Salary & Benefits

Monthly Salary: $3,403 – $4,517 (range 37, steps A–M). Overtime eligible.
