Role:

Rely Services is seeking a strong and experienced business leader to manage, oversee, and drive execution across key business functions, departments, and strategic initiatives. This role is designed for a hands-on operations and business management professional who can lead teams, manage priorities, follow up on departmental projects, and ensure business targets are achieved across all the business functions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership, department heads, internal stakeholders, sales, HR, and M&A teams to ensure smooth operations, accountability, performance tracking, and timely delivery of business objectives.

Responsibilities

Operations Leadership
Oversee day-to-day business operations across all the business units within the organization.
Ensure all departments are aligned with company goals, delivery expectations, and leadership priorities.
Monitor operational performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
Create structure, accountability, and follow-up mechanisms across departments.
Ensure internal teams are meeting service delivery standards, timelines, and performance targets.
Department P&L, Performance, and Business Growth
Manage and monitor department-wise P&L for Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, and M&A to ensure financial discipline and profitability.
Compare ROI against expenses and identify areas where costs are not generating enough business value.
Work with leadership and department heads to improve profitability, control costs, and strengthen business performance.
Conduct regular performance management and delivery meetings to review KPIs, productivity, targets, and action plans.
Ensure every business unit achieves productivity goals and contributes to overall business growth.
Work hands-on with departments as needed to solve challenges, improve execution, and ensure every department delivers measurable results.
Department & Project Oversight
Manage ongoing departmental projects and ensure timely follow-up with responsible owners.
Track progress on key initiatives across operations, sales, HR, M&A, and other business functions.
Conduct regular review meetings with department heads and internal stakeholders.
Identify delays, roadblocks, or resource gaps and escalate or resolve them proactively.
Maintain visibility into project status, milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
Maintain timely communication with Ownership and Executive Leadership regarding the progress, status, and completion of all key deliverables across departments.
People Management
Provide leadership, direction, and support to department leaders and team members.
Build strong working relationships with teams across departments to improve execution and communication.
Ensure teams have clarity on goals, responsibilities, timelines, and expected results.
Support performance improvement, team productivity, and leadership development.
Business Performance & Target Delivery
Oversee whether teams and departments are delivering against their assigned targets.
Track productivity, client deliverables, sales follow-ups, and operational goals.
Help leadership create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance review systems.
Identify underperforming areas and work with teams to improve results.
Ensure execution discipline across all business functions.
Internal Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure smooth communication and execution.
Act as a bridge between leadership and department heads to ensure priorities are clearly understood and implemented.
Support organizational planning, internal process improvement, and leadership communication.
Work with HR and department leaders on business priorities, employee engagement, and operational coordination as needed.
Requirements:
15+ years of experience in business operations, general management, BPO, professional services, or related industries.
Proven experience managing multiple departments, teams, or business functions.
Strong people management and cross-functional leadership skills with expertise in overseeing operations, project delivery, sales and M&A-related activities.
Experience in BPO, healthcare services, finance and accounting services, back-office operations, or acquisition integration is preferred.
