• Prepare food and serve school lunches within designated timelines
• Assist Kitchen Manager with receiving food orders and re‑stocking shelves
• Assist Kitchen Manager with daily starting and closing procedures
• Ensure all regulations related to food handling are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the school kitchen

• A Christian role model in attitude, speech, action
• Agree with Cascade Christian Schools’ Teaching Statements and Statement of Faith
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Prior job‑related experience preferred
• Current Washington State/Pierce County food handler’s permit
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude
• Ability to lift 35‑40 lbs.
• Independent worker
• Flexibility
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement
• Yearly regulatory training
• CPR Certified
• Complete a successful background check

This part‑time position works 20–25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and follows the Junior High/High School academic calendar.

$17.80–$20.55 per hour, depending on qualifications. Plus $0.50 shift differential for school size.
