Custodian –

Location:

FBI Quantico, VA. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

• Check in with supervisor and teammates to review cleaning plan.
• Gather cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants) as needed.
• Perform floor cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
• Remove trash and replace bags.
• Clean restrooms, refill supplies, and wipe surfaces (tables, chairs, doors).
• Dust furniture, shelves, vents, windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Inspect area at shift end to ensure cleanliness and neatness.
• Return tools and supplies to storage and prepare for next shift.

• Valid RealID.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Repetitive motions: mopping, sweeping, wiping, scrubbing.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies up to 25‑30 pounds.
• Navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven flooring safely.
• Work primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, solvents, dust, dirt, allergens, and possible biohazardous materials; PPE required.
• Work in confined or awkward spaces (under sinks, behind furniture, inside equipment areas).
• Noise from vacuum cleaners and machinery; hearing protection provided as needed.
