EVS FLOOR TECH

PAY RATE: $15.30 - $20.66. Based on relevant experience + $2.00 shift differential if applicable.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of general and specialized cleaning, including floor maintenance, refinishing, and carpet shampooing in assigned areas of the hospital. Additional duties include setting up rooms for meetings, assisting with housekeeping tasks such as trash pick-up and biohazard waste, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients. The role is physically demanding, requiring standing, twisting, squatting, bending, and lifting furniture.

The EVS Tech must follow safety procedures and protocols, work independently, and provide good judgment related to floor care. Leadership and teamwork skills are essential.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients while providing high-quality floor care.
• Prompt and professional response to floor maintenance requests.
• Manage time and work assignments effectively.
• Support the Mission of Blessing Hospital, demonstrate behavior consistent with Core Values, and support the Performance Improvement Process (PIP).
• Assume leadership and supervisory responsibilities during night shift floor tech duties.
• Train and supervise floor techs as required.

Experience in the operation of floor maintenance equipment, chemical applications, and safety procedures.

Required

• Customer Service experience.
• Regular consistent attendance.

Preferred

• Two (2) years floor stripping and refinishing experience.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Non-exempt hourly.
