Position Summary:
Regal Care at Quincy is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Director of Maintenance to oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and safety. The ideal candidate will ensure that the building, grounds, and equipment are properly maintained and that all regulatory and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of the facility’s physical plant, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Supervise and schedule maintenance staff and outside contractors.

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations regarding safety, fire, and environmental standards.

Conduct routine inspections of the building and grounds to identify and address maintenance issues.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders.

Oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life.

Participate in emergency preparedness planning and response.

Work collaboratively with administration and other departments to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.

Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and safety codes.

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
