Housekeeper Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of patient rooms, staff offices, halls, and general patient staff areas by performing the following duties.

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree; with six months housekeeping or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Language
Skills:
Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken and written word.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
