The Grounds/Janitorial Service Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Service Manager and Property Manager, for the overall cleanliness, appearance and basic maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of the residential community.

• Clubhouse and common area amenity cleaning/janitorial needs; empty trash daily, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, cleaning windows, disinfecting restrooms and high touch areas, etc.
• Restocking of products
• Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping, pressure cleaning
• Have knowledge or be willing to learn: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting
• Have knowledge or be willing to learn; repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
• Assist maintenance technician and/or maintenance supervisor with make ready units for new move‑ins
• Assist with scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance program
• Coordinate special projects as directed

Grounds/Janitorial Service Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. They must have the necessary skills to effectively complete tasks outlined above and possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. The position requires the ability to stand and walk around the property for most of the day.

This is a full‑time position.

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation Required

• Salary: $16.00‑$18.00 per hour (Pay is commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills)
