Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
Essential Functions
Maintains fueling equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline related equipment; provides preventive maintenance. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Performs preventative maintenance, including dispenser calibration. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Participates in training for existing and new equipment. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to company plan guidelines.
- High School diploma or GED or related field preferred.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field or more preferred.
- Able to use hand/electric cart.
- Able to use power and hand tools.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver.
- Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry.
- View computer monitor.
- Hear and speak via telephone.
- Reach forward and/or overhead.
- Occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment.
- Work in confined spaces.
- Required crouching and/or crawling.
- Able to use a ladder.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The lighting will include natural light from outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
- Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
