Maintenance Technician- Raleigh Hotel, NC

Renaissance Raleigh Hotel is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech.

Salary: $18.00–$20.40 hourly, based upon experience and certifications.

MUST have availability to work nights and weekends.

• Keep all equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist the Chief Engineer and other team members with building and grounds maintenance.
• Provide a safe environment for guests and staff by meeting all safety standards.
• Deliver professional, courteous service to guests and accommodate various requests.
• Be a team player and assist other departments when help is needed.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and aware of all Job Safety Analysis guides.

• High school diploma or certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical (a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance or engineering in a hotel or similar environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures (OSHA knowledge preferred).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
